Sonali Birla is a Graduate of the Integrative Health Coach Professional Training from Duke Integrative Medicine specializing in culinary workshops and corporate coaching.
Sonali is passionate about sharing her culinary expertise and creativity with dishes which are rooted in India's age-old traditions yet adapted to today’s kitchen for a wholesome, healthy and fresh meal. Her classes are a cultural experience as she imparts her knowledge and love for cooking. Inspired by her mother who is a renowned chef in Kolkata, Sonali grew up with a keen interest in baking and now loves to experiment with Indian spices and herbs creating delicacies combining the flavors of the east with the west. Sonali married a foodie, Parag Birla who has an intense passion for cooking himself and decided to open an Indian restaurant, Saffron in Morrisville in 2006. Sonali is an Integrative Health Coach from Duke Integrative Medicine as a supplement to her 16 years of Project Manager experience in the Pharmaceutical Corporate arena.
